Five brands account for essentially every robotic pool cleaner sold in Australia. They differ far more in local support than in cleaning ability, which is why this page leads with who stands behind the machine rather than with features.
| Brand | Models | Price range | Warranty | Do we earn a commission? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dolphin (Maytronics) | 28 | $1,049 to $3,999 | 2 to 4 yr | No, we earn nothing |
| Zodiac | 12 | $569 to $3,089 | 1 to 3 yr | No, we earn nothing |
| Wybot | 10 | $500 to $4,000 | 1 to 2 yr | Yes, program available |
| Aiper | 8 | $799 to $3,000 | 2 to 3 yr | Yes, program available |
| Beatbot | 8 | $999 to $4,899 | 2 to 3 yr | No, we earn nothing |
Two of the three most-searched brands pay us nothing. Dolphin and Zodiac together account for the majority of brand searches in this category in Australia, and neither runs a publisher program. We cover them fully anyway, because a comparison that omitted the market leaders would be useless, and we say on every page where we earn nothing.
Each brand in one line
- Dolphin (Maytronics). The most-searched brand here and the strongest local support: an Australian company, an authorised service network and a stated two working day repair turnaround. Warranty runs two to four years and does not track price.
- Zodiac (Fluidra). Long-established, five state offices, one to three years. Two conditions catch people out: the express warranty applies only through an authorised dealer, and registration with a tax invoice is required before a claim.
- Aiper. The cordless specialist, widely stocked including one model at Bunnings. Warranty is per-model rather than flat, and no Australian legal entity is published on its site.
- Beatbot. Premium cordless, sold here by a separate Australian company rather than by Beatbot itself. Note that "full replacement" permits a refurbished unit.
- Wybot. The cheapest entry point and the weakest documentation. Its official Australian store publishes no local entity and an empty warranty page, though part of the range is sold through a genuine Australian distributor with in-house repairs. Which seller you buy from changes the purchase entirely.
